Display buying guide

How to display challenge coins.

Start with your collection, the space where it will hang, and the details of the actual display you choose.

Choose the layout and finish

Count your coins and measure the largest diameter and thickness. Leave room for additions, and check the listing dimensions against your wall space. The American Standard LED listing is 20 x 30 inches. Its integrated lighting, raised stars, and natural wood accents offer a different look from the fully torch burned Heritage 13.

Check coin fit and capacity

Heritage 13 Torch Burned has four shelves with two rows on each shelf. That describes the layout, not a guaranteed coin count. Coin diameter, thickness, shape, and spacing change how many will fit. Send your coin count and the largest measurements so T6 can review the layout before you choose or commission a display.

Ask about your collection

Plan the mounting location

Before hanging, confirm the supplied hardware, display weight, and installation instructions for your specific piece. Choose fasteners suited to the wall construction and the loaded display. Ask T6 about the mounting arrangement before ordering if it is not listed. For an LED display, plan access to power and keep the cord clear of the mounting points. Load coins only after the display is securely installed.

Arrange and care for the display

Group coins by service, milestone, or story, with larger pieces where they stay stable and visible. Keep the display indoors and away from moisture, direct heat, and prolonged sunlight. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid spraying cleaners onto the wood or lighting. Unplug an LED display before cleaning, and ask T6 before applying a finish treatment or changing its wiring.
