Four New Builds on the Bench

There's a moment in every build where the work starts to speak for itself. This week, that moment came four times over.

Four new Legacy Series flag displays are sitting on the workbench, fresh off the laser and waiting for their final touchups and clear coat. Two Betsy Ross circle-star designs. Two 50-star full-field layouts. All of them hand-painted, laser-cut, and built right here in our garage shop.

What Goes Into Each One

These aren't prints. They aren't mass-produced.

Every stripe is painted by hand — deep navy, bold red, and natural white wood grain that lets the character of the pine come through. The stars are individually laser-cut from solid wood, then set into the flag face. The frames are solid pine, stained and fitted to hold your challenge coins on recessed wooden shelves.

It takes time to do it right. That's the point.

The Betsy Ross Build

The Betsy Ross design holds a special place in the Legacy Series. The 13-star circle pattern represents the original colonies — the foundation everything else was built on. We get more requests for this one from veterans and collectors who want something that connects to the beginning of the American story.

The 50-Star Build

The full 50-star field is the everyday flag — the one that flew over every deployment, every ceremony, every homecoming. It's the one people recognize instantly and the one that carries the most personal weight for most of our customers.

Both designs hold the same number of coins. Both are built the same way. The choice usually comes down to what story you want to tell.

What Comes Next

These four are heading into final touchups this week — any small imperfections in the paint get cleaned up by hand before clear coat goes on. The clear coat seals everything, protects the wood, and gives the finished piece that deep, gallery-quality look.
